Let’s see, when did it all start   I have always suffered from a condition called dyslexia but it wasn’t diagnosed until later in life.  It has truly been both a blessing and a curse. Fortunately, my unusual sense of humor seems to interface well with my learning disability.   Just about anyone who has dyslexia will tell you that it can present both distressing and interesting opportunities for a person.  I have had to teach myself just about everything.  Once you know how it works, it is rather like learning a complicated foreign language.  Because of dyslexia, I have learned to appreciate everything in strange new ways.  We who have this process, learn to build bridges around and through it.  In doing that, we see many things different from most. Sometimes the things of an everyday life can be powerfully complicated and complex.  But with art, sometimes life becomes more straightforward and simple for me.  Fortunately for me, I have been blessed with talent and curiousity.  It can be an entertaining combination.  All things considered, what I draw seems to be a great equalizer for me.  It has allowed me to know the world around me more fully and to also know myself.  I am more than dyslexia but for the purposes of this bio, it’s a start.

My name is Danielle. I am an aspiring graphic designer. I started drawing when I was about five years old. Then I got into wanting to draw the pictures myself to color. I wasn’t always big into sharing my work. I always kept to myself and just kept it put away. Then family and friends started noticing my work.
Next thing I knew, I was designing tattoos, doing personal portraits, and paintings for people. I really got eager to know that people were enjoying my art work. Then I decided to go to a local community college for my graphic design associates degree, which I am currently pursuing. I love working with my art on computers. I feel that art leads to endless possibilities. 
When I get in my mind state of drawing/designing my mind is at ease. I feel like there is nothing that matters at that moment, except for where my mind takes me in my work. I believe art exist in many forms and should be expressed in all ways. All my art tells different stories. Through my art, different parts of my life are visually expressed with true emotions.
